GoodLife Kids Foundation

GoodLife Kids Foundation is a registered charity with a vision for kids with special needs to have equal opportunities to experience the joys and benefits of being active. Funds raised are distributed through the GoodLife Kids Foundation Grant Program, which provides funding for registered charities offering physical activity programs for kids with intellectual disabilities and autism across Canada. To date, GoodLife Kids Foundation has impacted the lives of over 254,000 Canadian kids through physical activity opportunities.

GoodLife Fitness covers 100% of the administrative and operational expenses for GoodLife Kids Foundation so that every dollar raised will make the biggest impact on the lives of kids with special needs.

Spin 4 Kids Logo


Each year in November, join the party at Spin4Kids and get sweaty for a great cause! You can Spin, Groove, and Move as GoodLife locations across Canada host this one-day fitness fundraiser in support of GoodLife Kids Foundation. Build a team and join the fun by fundraising and participating in one hour of high-energy group fitness activities like indoor cycling, Zumba and BODYCOMBAT. No experience is needed and everyone is welcome! Recruit your friends, family, coworkers or gym buddies and raise funds to help kids with special needs thrive through physical activity and fitness. Spin4Kids is a day you don’t want to miss!

GoodLife has a proud history of helping charitable and not-for-profit organizations for over 30 years. We have sponsored events, provided gift packages, and volunteered our time year after year. As a Canadian company, we view community investments not simply as a responsibility, but as an essential component in building strong and healthy communities. Our Community Investment initiatives are driven by our vision to give every Canadian the opportunity to live a fit a healthy good life. These initiatives are primarily led by our Public Relations team.

The Kilee Patchell-Evans Autism Research Group

The group was founded at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) following a generous donation from GoodLife Fitness’ Founder and CEO, David “Patch” Patchell-Evans. Named after his autistic daughter Kilee, the overall mandate was to create a multi-disciplinary research group whose combined efforts would focus on the development of novel research methods in the study of autism spectrum disorders.

UHN’s Peter Munk Cardiac Centre

In November, 2012 GoodLife Fitness made a $5 million donation to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre. The establishment of the GoodLife Fitness Centre of Excellence in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine is the beginning of an innovative and first of its kind, private/public collaboration between GoodLife Fitness and the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at UHN.
